Nico Skolp, an Italian artist born in Bari, has carved a distinctive niche in the contemporary art scene through his innovative fusion of abstract murals and graffiti. His journey into the art world commenced at the tender age of 14 in 1997, when he began experimenting with graffiti in public spaces. This early passion for street art laid the foundation for his unique style, characterized by the harmonious blending of shapes and colors into intricate abstractions that seamlessly integrate with their surroundings.

Skolp's academic pursuits in Communication Design at IUAV in Venice further honed his artistic vision, equipping him with a profound understanding of visual communication. This educational background, combined with his practical experiences, culminated in the co-founding of FF3300, a visual arts and design studio in Bari, in 2006. At FF3300, Skolp continues to explore the interplay between art and design, pushing the boundaries of traditional artistic expression.

His murals are not merely decorative; they are thoughtfully crafted compositions that engage in a dialogue with their environment. By meticulously balancing complex abstractions with the contextual backdrop, Skolp offers viewers a fresh visual experience with each encounter. This approach challenges conventional perceptions of public art, inviting observers to engage more deeply with the spaces they inhabit.
