UFA, Unicorn Fashion Awards is a fashion experience and awards hosted by DARE CLAN Magazine and ERA-KI as coordinator. UFA 2020 aims to search for and promote young creative talents from all over the world by providing them a platform to share their work with an international audience. 


UFA wants to offer the young designers and talents an opportunity to launch and develop their brand through an acceleration programme. 


Considering awarded design as an engine of social and economic change, we understand the importance of opening dialogues between young talents and renowned professionals inside the fashion world. The main goal is to provide emerging designers International visibility, and to make them known to a wider audience and to the media. 



*The networking event will be subject to the health situation around the world and any notices by the government. 

  • The top 3 winners will get a chance to be a part of ERA KI Fashion Business Accelerator Programme, which will be a 4 month process, in a strategic partnership with a network of like-minded advisors and business people.


  • The finalist designers/ brands will be assisted in their production of the collection as part of the acceleration programme, if needed by connecting them to production labs in Italy or other European countries. (production cost will be the responsibility of the designer/brand).


  • It will grant you access to extended expertise in fashion, culture and art world in the Italian and European markets.   


  • ERA KI team will work with you to build brand awareness in relevant markets, boost revenues and strengthen your business model and its execution.  


  • ERA KI operate through an integrated approach in marketing and business development.

Editor in charge of Sports&Street from 2015 - 2019. Currently working as a professor at Bologna University, teaching “Latest Trends in Fashion” at the Corso di Studi in Culture e Tecniche della Moda. Teaching “Buying and Selling Trends” in the International Fashion Business Masterclass at Polimoda Institute in Florence.

Founder of Senstile (, an innovative tech startup that digitizes textiles by considering their touch & feel to help designers source materials more efficiently over the internet. Senstile's solution came from her experience working in the apparel industry as a fashion designer, production manager, and fashion brand founder. Zhanna and her team aim to increase quality standards in the industry by bringing attention to the textile quality through digital means.

Co-founder of the "neo-romantic" movement in 1980, he was a pupil of A. Paccagnini, F. Tex and

N. Castiglioni. Debuted at the 1981 Venice Biennale with great success, he has written a lot of symphonic and chamber music, four operas and dance music. Heidi spent 10 years in USA working with multinationals including Reebok as Marketing Director Apparel and with Victoria’s Secret responsible for the design and development of the sleep and lingerie categories. With a BA (Hons) degree in Textile/Fashion Marketing and a Masters in Textile Design Fashion & Management, Heidi is currently consulting alongside managing teaching assignments at Liverpool John Moores University Business School and The University of Manchester.

She is a native German with a Japanese mother who began her career working with world renowned high-end designer labels Comme des Garçons and Martin Margiela in the 90’s in Milan where she spent over a decade of her life. After 13 years in Milan where she was the PR Director for brands like ANTEPRIMA and Frankie Morello, just to name a few, besides having her own photography agency and coordinating and producing “design projects” on a global scale, she founded her own PR and Production company which she successfully moved to New York in 2001.  She has been living in New York ever since, cultivating her passion of nurturing emerging talents and upcoming designers, making it her very mission to nourish talents. Mariko covered main positions in the fashion industry in New York, Milan, Paris and Tokyo, from agent and producer to stylist and VP. 

Her career spans over 30 years at the highest level of the global business of fashion.

Carlotta Colarossi has developed a professional path focused on the use of knowledge and skills in the areas of Marketing, Public Relations and Communication to propose targeted, personalized projects with a focus in the fashion industry. Communication Director for the IED Group - Istituto Europeo di Design, an international training company in Fashion, Design, Visual Arts with branches in Italy, Spain, Brazil. In this company she also gained significant experience in the Fashion sector  dealing with the development of the international network Ied Moda Lab, the project and supervision of events and competitions, from the international selection of the best fashion designers to the production of the winners collections, the organization of fashion shows and related communication campaigns. Carlotta also collaborated with Leo Burnett Milan, as People and Culture Manager.

She is co-founder of Fumagalli&CO, a company focused on the development of new concepts for residential models, specialized in prefabricated techniques. She also developed experience as freelance journalist in the field of design and architecture, being involved in several editorial projects. She has been tutor at the Faculty of Architecture of Genoa and Milan as well as at the Design Faculty at SPD and at the Haute Future Fashion Academy. Until 2018 she has been co-founder and director of the Sino European Innovation Institute, Italian branch of Unesco - ICCSD. 

For years Caterina has been involved in the new international cultural formats development, taking care of their contents and communication. 

From 2019 she develops FIBRA research that takes shape from the recovery and subsequent re-use of the discard materials from the Italian excellence textile industry with the aim of creating new design products and art design projects.

Moreover, she is a Master of Ceremonies for international events and she is sought after as Ambassadress and Endorser by Fashion brands. 

She has performed in over 35 countries throughout the world, in theatre and television. She is a Master of Ceremonies for international events.
She has presented Prince Albert of Monaco during the “Red and White Night” at the Cannes Cinema Festival.  In 2020 she has been invited to perform as an artist and to be the Master of Ceremonies of the PressBall inBerlin, created in 1872, that she presented in German with the German TV journalistMax Oppel, under the Patronage of the European Parliament.

Lorena is the icon of the innovative entertainment project “Origins”, a new “world”, of which she is the leading performer and creator with Producer Tino Genovese. "Origins" is an international project currently being developed by Promo Art Monte-Carlo Production, based on a big show for arenas, a Book Trilogy and a Movie Trilogy.

Elisabetta Invernici is a journalist expert in costume, fashion and beauty. She

worked in the most important Italian newspapers and magazines and directed some female weekly magazines. Her publishing house EVI is specialized in marketing and communication, house organ and specialized magazines. Elisabetta

is one of the professors at Ordine dei giornalisti in Lombardia and the author of the book “Valentina Cortese. 100 ritratti”. In 2015 she participated at the EXPO in Milan.
