Life in Venice is rich in various cultural events that take place throughout the year.
From 27 March 2022 to 8 January 2023 Palazzo Grassi in Venice hosts Open-end, the first major solo exhibition of Marlene Dumas in Italy, as part of a program of monographic exhibitions dedicated to major contemporary artists organized by the Pinot Collection.
Another cultural highlight in the city was the 79th Venezia Film Festival. Julienne Moore served as jury representative and Penelope Cruz, Timothée Chalamet, Adam Driver, Cate Blanchett and many others were among the event's star guests.
The festival also included a Gala Cocktail Party at the luxurious Ausonia Hungaria Hotel on the Venice Lido. The evening was exclusive and diverse in its program, with the Gala Cocktail being led by chef Andrea Simionato, while the program for the evening moved from fashion shows to a performance by electronic violinist Elsa Martignoni and a fan dance by performer Kiki Minnow.
