UFA, Unicorn Fashion Awards is a fashion experience and awards hosted by DARE CLAN Magazine and ERA-KI as coordinator. UFA 2021 aims to search for and promote young creative talents from all over the world by providing them a platform to share their work with an international audience. 


Considering awarded design as an engine of social and economic change, we understand the importance of opening dialogues between young talents and renowned professionals inside the fashion world. The main goal is to provide emerging designers International visibility, and to make them known to a wider audience and to the media. 

We are looking for creators that prioritize quality, creativity, combined with strong personal vision. Our purpose is to connect with the soul behind the products, with dreams first, goals second in order to make it happen on the markets.

We want to hear your story and we want to share it with the rest of the world. We look for designers and brand with interesting concepts behind their designs and brands. We look for DYNAMIC, ADVENTOROUS, RADICAL, ECCENTRIC : D.A.R.E.

  • The top 3 winners will get a chance to be a part of ERA KI Fashion Business Accelerator Programme, which will be a 4-12 month process, in a strategic partnership with a network of like-minded advisors and business people.


  • The finalist designers/ brands will be assisted in their production of the collection as part of the acceleration programme, if needed by connecting them to production labs in Italy or other European countries. (production cost will be the responsibility of the designer/brand)

  • ERA KI team will work with you to build brand awareness in relevant markets, boost revenues and strengthen your business model and its execution.  

It will grant you access to extended expertise in fashion, culture and art world in the Italian and European markets.

Co-Founder and Partner of ERA Kapital  which operates as an advisory and  non-incorporated Search Fund  operating through the Accelerator ERA KI in the fashion industry.  Lecturer/Instructor on the course “Deal Making Process and Structuring Private Equity and Venture Capital Deals” in post-doctoral MBA Programme for post PhD Researchers and Inventors. Mentor of (i) small and medium-sized company and (ii) early stage companies and in different entrepreneurial organization, R&D Institutes and Universities, accelerators and seed programs. 

Business advisor and coaching in accelerating programmes and also member of panels in venture capital competitions (from 2007 - ongoing) in different accelerators and entrepreneurial programs within Europe and outside Europe.

In fashion among the others he developed - through organic growth and a global multi-products licensing out strategy -brand Frankie Morello from a start-up company in 1998 to a recognised global brand in 2013 (when he exited, Riccardo Aimerito was member of the Board of Director and General Manager of the maison)."

Carlotta Colarossi has developed a professional path focused on the use of knowledge and skills in the areas of Marketing, Public Relations and Communication to propose targeted, personalized projects with a focus in the fashion industry. Communication Director for the IED Group - Istituto Europeo di Design, an international training company in Fashion, Design, Visual Arts with branches in Italy, Spain, Brazil. In this company she also gained significant experience in the Fashion sector  dealing with the development of the international network Ied Moda Lab, the project and supervision of events and competitions, from the international selection of the best fashion designers to the production of the winners collections, the organization of fashion shows and related communication campaigns. Carlotta also collaborated with Leo Burnett Milan, as People and Culture Manager.


International fashion PR with a deep understanding of the contemporary apparel landscape. She is a native German with a Japanese mother who began her career working with world renowned high-end designer labels Comme des Garçons and Martin Margiela in the 90’s in Milan where she spent over a decade of her life. After 13 years in Milan where she was the PR Director for brands like ANTEPRIMA and Frankie Morello, just to name a few, besides having her own photography agency and coordinating and producing “design projects” on a global scale, she founded her own PR and Production company which she successfully moved to New York in 2001.  She has been living in New York ever since, cultivating her passion of nurturing emerging talents and upcoming designers, making it her very mission to nourish talents. Mariko covered main positions in the fashion industry in New York, Milan, Paris and Tokyo, from agent and producer to stylist and VP. 

Her career spans over 30 years at the highest level of the global business of fashion. 


Thushara Sabreen, is a London based  award winning creative innovator, entrepreneur, published co author and experienced fashion professional.  Founder  & Creative Director of Tinker Design  and Innovation Lead  for the UK Creative Industries.  An alumna from London College of Fashion - MA Fashion Entrepreneurship & Innovation (Distinction) and Accelerate Cambridge University Judge Business School. An experienced fashion professional with extensive understanding and insight into diverse multicultural markets with over 12 years experience from product development to product launch working with some of the world's leading brands to renowned manufacturers  across Europe, Asia and USA.  As well as this, she is a member of the e-textile steering board, teaching facilitator (London College of Fashion - UAL) and fashion tech mentor.


Over the years,  Svetlana Reznik worked for private equity and venture funds in Russia as CEO and Investment director, has more than 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship support and innovation development. She is a lecturer at Moscow State University and member of the Russian Writers' Union as an author of books on business negotiations, leadership and financial literacy.


Founder of Senstile (senstile.com), an innovative tech startup that digitizes textiles by considering their touch & feel to help designers source materials more efficiently over the internet. Senstile's solution came from her experience working in the apparel industry as a fashion designer, production manager, and fashion brand founder. Zhanna and her team aim to increase quality standards in the industry by bringing attention to the textile quality through digital means.


Key contributor at number of fashion & luxury magazines including Sport&Street, Collezioni Donna, Collezioni Uomo, and Collezioni Accessori for more than 20 years. Has collaborated with international ready-to-wear & streetwear brands, trade shows, & communication agencies such as Michael Kors, Woolrich, Erreà Sport, Pitti Immagine Uomo, and many others. Editor in charge of Sports&Street from 2015 - 2019. Currently working as a professor at Bologna University, teaching “Latest Trends in Fashion” at the Corso di Studi in Culture e Tecniche della Moda. Teaching “Buying and Selling Trends” in the International Fashion Business Masterclass at Polimoda Institute in Florence. 


Co-founder of the "neo-romantic" movement in 1980, he was a pupil of A. Paccagnini, F. Tex and N. Castiglioni. Debuted at the 1981 Venice Biennale with great success, he has written a lot of symphonic and chamber music, four operas and dance music. He orchestrated Schumann’s Carnaval and Liszt’s Christmas Tree and works with world renowned artists, recording music. He teaches composition and orchestration and has collaborated with the Giornale della Musica. Published by Casa Ricordi, Casa Sonzogno, Sconfinarte Editions.


Nicolas Aksil is a publicist and art director who has been working in fashion for 14 years. Since 2008, Nicolas works as a publicist for one of the most respected fashion brands in Paris, place Vendôme. Through his job, he collaborates with the world's biggest fashion publications (Vogue, L'Officiel, Numéro...). On the side, Nicolas is also an image consultant and advises international performers on their fashion projects. He has worked as an Art Director on fashion shoots for Mahmood and Usher among others.



Elisabetta Invercini is a journalist expert in costume, fashion and beauty. She worked in the most important Italian newspapers and magazines and directed some female weekly magazines. Her publishing house EVI is specialised in marketing and communication, house organ and specialised magazines. Elisabetta is one of the professors at Ordine Dei giornalisti in Lombardia and the author of the book “Valentina Cortese. 100 Ritratti”. In 2015 she participated at the EXPO in Milan. Communications and consulting of international companies are her elements. She has realised many projects in cultural, fashion, cosmetics and art fields and teaches Management and Beauty communications and wellness at IULM. Elisabetta is an expert of history of costume and is a curator of Rosa Genoni a fashion creators, activist, journalist and writer who promoted Made in Italy.

With an experience of over 20 years in the human re­sources field, Serena has served as HR director in Italy and abroad for international companies like Birra Peroni (historical brand in the beer industry), Value Retail (company specialized in the management of luxury outlet shopping), UCB Pharma, for which she worked in Italy, Belgium and Switzerland in different roles, and Dell. Earlier she had been GE Oil & Gas's HR Manager, lndesit company, where she also worked as training, selection, and development manag­er for the group, and Johnson&Johnson Medical. Serena graduated in Political Science at LUISS, has done an MBA in SDA Bocconi and in 2017 she got a degree as Counselor from Centro Berne. In Birra Peroni she certified as Mentor, and she currently helps young new recent graduates in their professional growth path.
